Who you'll see when you walk in
Dr. Yossi Stein is a former EMT and ski patroller. Dr. Richard Stein founded the practice in San Diego in 1991.
I went in on a Friday without an appointment and was able to be seen after just 5-10 min wait. Dr. Yossi gave me certain health tips and activities to do on my own time to help with my back pain. His chiropractic technique was very gentle which I loved because I have a hard time relaxing.

What a walk-in visit includes
Calling ahead changes how long you wait, not what happens once you're here.
One chiropractor, exam to care
History and exam
What brought you in and any past injuries come first. Then a movement exam finds what's restricted and what's guarded.
A plain explanation
You hear what the exam shows and what care would involve, before anything begins.
Care begins
When it's the right call, care starts at this visit: adjustments, joint mobilization, or Active Release Technique (ART), matched to what the exam finds.
You leave knowing what to do between visits. No referral, no pre-authorization, and nothing to file afterward.
Walked in, and walked out in 15 minutes with almost all my back pain gone. Dude is legit.

Before you walk in
What can a walk-in visit help with?
Back, neck, and joints
People walk in with back pain after lifting, a neck that stiffened overnight, pain traveling into the leg, or a stiff shoulder or hip. Walk-in care suits a sudden flare-up and an ache that keeps coming back. The exam decides where care starts.
Do I need imaging first?
No
Bring any imaging or records you already have. If the exam points to needing more, we'll tell you plainly. We've written more on whether you need X-rays to get adjusted.
What does it cost?
$150 first visit
That includes the exam and care when it's the right call. We don't bill insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Other rates are on our how we help page.
What if it isn't something you should treat?
No charge
If the exam shows this isn't something we should be treating, there's no charge for the visit. Some situations call for hospital-level evaluation first. If you're unsure, call and we'll help you route correctly.
The door's open five days a week
Waiting for it to settle usually means planning your days around it. Call and we'll set a time for you, or walk in during open hours.

I've been going to Stein Chiropractor for 20 years start with Dr. Stein father. I love their natural path to healing. Always available and reliable. Awesome walk-in system: fast and efficient so I can make effort to get adjust without too much stress planning. Highly recommend! Start listening to your body and showing it love by maintaining it!
