Why Chiropractic Adjustments Crack, and What the Sound Actually Means

The first time you hear the pop during a chiropractic adjustment, the same thought arrives almost instantly: something just moved back into place. A bone that was out got put back. Most people carry that mental model for years, and plenty of chiropractic marketing quietly encourages it.

That mental model is wrong, and correcting it is worth your time, because it changes both how you experience care and how you judge whether it is working.
