In 1992, Dr. Stein founded the Stein Chiropractic Center in La Jolla, CA. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Stein got his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University before relocating to Los Angeles in 1983. Stein earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1989.

In 1990, Stein traveled to the Middle East where he founded the Jerusalem Chiropractic Center in Israel. A pioneer in the field, Stein was one of the first to introduce the healing art of chiropractic to Israel. He established an innovative family practice focusing on the treatment of neuromuscular disorders, pediatrics, sports injuries and wellness care. A popular national public speaker, he lectured on a variety of spinal disorders and related conditions.

Returning to the United States to open the Stein Chiropractic Center in La Jolla, Dr. Stein brought an impressive background of international achievement. Recognized in the "Who's Who" of Executives and Professionals, Dr. Stein is a member of the International Chiropractors Association, the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research, the American Association of Spine Physicians and the Israel Chiropractic Society.

As Clinical Director of the Stein Chiropractic Center, Dr. Stein, 39, emphasizes gentle yet efficient chiropractic treatment including spinal adjustments, neuromuscular re-education, myofascial release and exercise therapy. Like his clinic in Israel, Dr. Stein's La Jolla center specializes in family practice, pediatrics and sports injuries. Recovery from motor vehicle accidents has been added to serve what is, unfortunately, a growing need in our automobile dependent society.

When he's not overseeing patient care, Dr. Stein takes his dedication to physical health and emotional  well being outside the office. He volunteers for the Chabad of La Jolla Synagogue, visiting the sick and participating in study groups.

An active father of four with his lovely wife Chavi, Stein is head coach for his daughter's junior soccer team. When he's not spending time with his children: Miriam, Shayna, Yossi and Dina; Dr. Stein enjoys reading, biking, skiing, jogging and a good game of racquetball.
